Purpose: You are to figure out who has the biggest
mouth in class.
Question :Who has the larger
oral cavity, males or females?
Hypothesis: (You give)
Test: We will fill the mouths
of volunteers with water to get an approximate volume of their oral cavity. We will do this multiple times and take an
average so that we can compare class data.
We will then determine whose mouth is “the biggest”, boys or girls. We will also measure the height of all
participants, in meters.

Observational Journal:
Analysis: SHow calculation examples made . make 2 graphs : bar graph of test subjects vs. volume in ml, line/scatter graph of test subject height in m (on X axis) vs. Mouth volume in ml ( on Y axis).
Discuss sources and effects of error
Conclusion: ( in paragraph form) Restate hypothesis, was it supported by experiment ? did you answer your question? Support or refute with data. Give a next step for taking this experiment further
